Chairman of Islamic Ideological Council Proposes Scholarships and Laptops for School Students

Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi, Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, has suggested extending the scholarship and laptop scheme to include school students.

Speaking at the annual ceremony at Jamia Naeemia, Dr. Naeemi highlighted the timeless guidance provided by the Quran and Sunnah, emphasizing their relevance for humanity until the Day of Judgment. He noted that students in religious institutions become scholars who encourage every Muslim to focus on their spiritual and moral development in preparation for the hereafter.

Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi announced that during the concluding sessions, over 200 students received excellence awards and prizes, while more than 70 students were honored with medals. This year, Jamia Naeemia has conferred degrees upon 67 scholars, 10 muftis, 47 Quran reciters, and 50 memorizers of the Quran.

Dr. Raghib Hussain Naeemi highlighted the vital role scholars play in combating social evils and empowering the younger generation through their teachings. He emphasized that schools, with their rich heritage and services, are an integral part of Islamic society and deserve recognition and praise for their contributions to education and community development.

He also urged that schools be included in the scholarship and laptop scheme to further support their role in shaping future generations.
