Hajj 2025 Training to Begin Tomorrow

The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) in Pakistan has finalized preparations for mandatory training sessions for pilgrims participating in the government Hajj 2025 program.

In a statement released today, the ministry’s spokesperson confirmed that training workshops will be held at 147 locations across the country. The first session is scheduled to begin tomorrow in Peshawar.

Pilgrim attendance will be monitored using QR codes via the Pak Hajj mobile app. Overseas Pakistanis will receive their training at designated Haji Camps before beginning their pilgrimage. The first phase of this mandatory training is expected to conclude by February 27.

On January 13, Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, signed the annual Hajj 2025 agreement.

The agreement allows for 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims to perform Hajj this year and ensures improved facilities, including affordable accommodations in Mina for Pakistani pilgrims.

Saudi Arabia has also introduced a new version of the “Nusuk” portal to improve Hajj and Umrah services for visitors.
