Japan Announces MEXT Teachers’ Training Scholarship

The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan has announced the MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) Teachers Training Scholarship 2025. This opportunity is open to Pakistani teachers with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in primary or secondary schools, whether in the public or private sector.

The embassy stated that the program is open to teachers up to 35 years of age. The training course offers Pakistani teachers the chance to conduct research on school education in Japan and gain insights into innovative teaching methodologies and techniques from Japanese experts, enhancing their professional growth.

Each year, MEXT provides scholarships to international teachers as part of the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship program. These scholarships support teachers interested in researching school education at designated educational institutions in Japan. The non-degree training program has a maximum duration of 18 months, and participants will receive a certificate from a Japanese university upon completing the required coursework.

The application deadline is February 14, 2025.
